A bold late 18th-century George III elbow chair in elm, featuring a pierced central back splat in the Chippendale style with voluted top rails and matching arms. The padded seat has been recently reupholstered using its existing horsehair filling, with new webbing and a calico seat cover - ready to be re-covered or left as is. Personally, I love it just as it is.
Condition Report
Excellent condition with a few minor historic repairs. Previous minor evidence of worm, but long gone and structurally sound - just how we like it.
