SELLING AN ITEM
If you have an antique or vintage piece you think may be of interest, I'd be pleased to hear from you.
I regularly acquire individual items, private collections, and entire estates, with a particular focus on Georgian, Victorian, and early twentieth-century furniture, alongside decorative objects, lighting, artwork, and other pieces of character.
The simplest way to get in touch is by WhatsApp. Clear photographs are usually all that's required for an initial assessment, although you are equally welcome to make contact by phone, email, or via the contact form.
House Clearances
Alongside individual acquisitions, I undertake selected house clearances throughout Hampshire and the surrounding areas. This includes partial and full clearances, depending on the property and contents.

Swann Antiques was founded in 2020 by Steven Swann, evolving from an early focus on furniture restoration into a carefully curated collection of antique and decorative pieces chosen for their craftsmanship, character, and lasting presence within the home.
Each piece is selected individually, with an emphasis on quality materials, honest surface, and timeless design. Where restoration is required, it is carried out sympathetically using traditional methods intended to preserve the integrity and history of the object rather than over-refine it.
Many items are simply revived using a beeswax polish produced from Steven’s own hives - a gentlequiet finishing process that enhances texture and depth without masking age or wear.
The collection spans furniture and decorative antiques from a range of periods, united less by strict categories and more by proportion, patina, and enduring utility.
